Youth Leading Change: United for AMR Stewardship

Planet

We are not making threats, we are telling the truth!

By 2050, antimicrobial resistance could claim

10 million lives

annually, surpassing cancer deaths.

״This is the ideology I am determined to defend.״

Tackling global health problems like antimicrobial resistance (AMR) requires thorough collaboration among healthcare, agriculture, and the general population to ensure a secure and interconnected health system for humans, animals, and the environment. It also demands the cultivation of future generations of guardians and advocates for responsible antimicrobial use, grounded in strong ethics and good faith. This is the ideology I am determined to defend. Let there be peace and safe drug use for all.

״Small changes can make a big difference for a better future.״

"Tackling global health issues like AMR requires collaboration and small, meaningful actions across healthcare, agriculture, and society. There isn't much time left for us but together, these efforts can create a big difference in securing a healthier world. The future depends on raising a generation with responsible antimicrobial use, guided by strong ethics and a vision for a better tomorrow. This is the change I will fight for - a future of health and safe medicine use for all."

"Medicines are losing their power. "

"Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a pressing global challenge, threatening the effectiveness of life-saving medicines. By leveraging my knowledge in microbiology and molecular biology, I aim to promote youth-led initiatives to combat AMR. Through research and sustainable practices, I believe young scientists can drive innovative solutions to mitigate the rise of resistant pathogens."

"The time is now - Bangkit semua!"

"Antibiotics are slowing down, but superbugs are rapidly growing stronger! The idea of falling ill with no effective treatment, leading to countless deaths, sounds like science fiction, but it’s a real and predicted future. Especially here in Malaysia and across Asia, we’re expected to be among the hardest hit. But we are not helpless. The fight against superbugs starts with us. By spreading awareness, using antibiotics responsibly, and supporting efforts to develop new treatments, we can still change this future. Together, we can take a stand against antibiotic resistance and protect the health of generations to come. The time is now—Bangkit semua! Let's rise and act!"
